Eighty Four Skate Co. started back in 2000 as an idea and vision created by one of our own shop guys along with the support of many friends, family, and local skateboarders. Eighty Four Skate Co. was created to represent the local skateboard scene here in Hawaii. Through the years we’ve seen Hawaii skateboarding make it’s way to the forefront of all of skateboarding. From the early days at Wallos, Off the Walls, A’ala Park, Pearl City Pool, Castle Park and the infamous Palolo Ramp local skate spots have come of age. Through the hardwork and efforts of local skateboarders and skate shops banning together Kapolei, Hickam Hanger, and A’ala skateparks are some of the best skate parks in the world. It is our commitment to see to it that we continue to help cultivate and preserve our local skateboard scene. Through shop support, local skate contest, events, and the support of the construction of local skateparks Eighty Four Skate Co. will continue to be an “Active Supporter of Skateboarding in Hawaii”.
